Project Mari is a tribute I made for my best friend Mari who passed away recently from cancer. I shared 100 sunflowers (her favorite) with people in my Taiwan community so her story could inspire even more people. Please help me share the video with the world.
Love Adventures of Ryan & Meg
Our love began in San Diego, California and ventured across the borders of Mexico. Then we decided to take a chance to teach English in Taiwan. But first, a stop in Thailand to snorkel with exotic fish and participate in the biggest water fight in the world!
Taiwan Lantern Festival 2016
The whistle blew, people strapped their helmets down, and thousands of fireworks exploded above us, beneath us, and on us! At first it wasn't so bad until one hit my leg, then my arm, and pretty soon I couldn't run away out of fear of being massacred even worse.
I want to thank everyone for your advice, thoughts, and prayers that got us through our first typhoon here in Taiwan. We were very fortunate in Kaohsiung to miss the worst of Typhoon Souldelor, but it was still a terrifying storm. In Kaohsiung city, people stayed safe and buildings stood strong. After 36-hours of solitude I ventured out of our apartment and saw the wreckage.
